The recent revelation that a senior Navy task force agreed to take a ridiculous oath is a warning about the depth of waking thought that has permeated American institutions – even the Department of Defense.
Consider this commitment offered by Task Force Navy One, which was formed in June to develop anti-discrimination strategies in the Navy:
“I am committed to championing and recognizing all the lived experiences and intersectional identities of every sailor in the Navy. I am committed to engaging in continuous personal reflection, education and knowledge sharing to improve myself and improve my communities. I am committed to being an example in establishing healthy, inclusive and team-oriented environments. I am committed to constructively sharing all experiences and information gained from the above activities to inform the development of Navy-wide reforms. ”

Reread this pledge and think of the young men and women who will see their leaders deliver on it.
First, how many new hires will have a sense of what this “intersectionality” they are committed to advocating and recognizing really is?

“Intersectionality is a concept often used in critical theories to describe the ways in which oppressive institutions (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, classism, etc.) are interconnected and cannot be considered separately from one another. others. ”
The website goes on to say that it is “widely used in critical theories, particularly feminist theory when discussing systematic oppression.”

Since most sailors won’t know what ‘intersectionality’ is, they will be educated by awakened professionals who make a living teaching enlightenment in government, business and education systems. There is now an entire industry of revival instructors and experts who make a fairly good living taking compulsory revival classes – where people are trapped by the power structure and forced to learn leftist nonsense like condition to keep their job.
So if this pledge is instituted, we will soon have a military brainwashing spouting largely partisan ideological nonsense. Members will be informed of their survival in the military and that their chances of promotion depend on learning leftist nonsense.
This is not what we want in an army.
We want an army dedicated to war, learning the lessons of military history and preparing to defeat our adversaries if we are threatened militarily. The kind of potentially heroic young men and women who rally the flag to fight for America are not going to be strengthened in their dedication to victory by having to learn an ideology that has been forced upon a gullible country by flim artists. -flam awakened (modern crooks of phony sociology and politics).
This engagement proposed by the Navy is insane because of the signals it sends to our potential enemies.
The anti-American leftist bias of the Awakened Movement proves that the very words of the pledge are a lie. The pledge says, “I pledge to champion and recognize all the lived experiences and intersectional identities of every sailor in the Navy.” Do you think the writers of this one really mean that?
What if you are a fundamentalist Christian or an Orthodox Jew who joined the Navy? Do you think this new commitment means people are supposed to listen to you and support you? What if your life experiences included a belief in the right to life and a deep commitment to marriage between a man and a woman? Do you think trying to explain this is going to be applauded by awakened fanatics? Do you think they will “stand up for and recognize” your lived experience?
What if your life experiences had led you to a deep patriotism and to the belief that the police and the US military are forces of good? Do you think your awakened instructor will encourage the class to listen to you if you start speaking like a National Review author or Sean Hannity?
Remember: the heart of “intersectionality” is learning “oppressive institutions (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, classism, etc.)” Where do you think heterosexual white men are fit into this paradigm? Of course, they are seen as the enemies, the oppressors, and those who need to be unmasked. Remember that “ableism” is discrimination in favor of able-bodied people. Military institutions must produce the toughest, most capable, and strongest people – in order to win in battle. The whole premise of intersectionality is madness when applied to a military institution.
Identity policies that stem from intersectionality are designed to separate people into different social groups with different ratings of privilege and grievance. Military units must be one team – a complete unit – or the Americans die and America fails.
Finally, this Navy engagement plan is foolish because of the signals it sends to our potential enemies.
Can you imagine Xi Jinping – who is simultaneously orchestrating the genocide of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang and the crackdown on the pro-freedom movement in Hong Kong – being informed that the US Navy has decided to become a social work experiment by itself? feeling warm and understanding of each other? Do we think this will make the Chinese Communist dictatorship more or less likely to test our resolve in the South China Sea or the Taiwan Strait? Do we think this newly emerging and sensitive US Navy will lead them to step down because they realize how nice people we have become?

Likewise, can you imagine Vladimir Putin – planning the poisoning of one or more opposition leaders – being told that the newly awakened US Navy was ready to challenge the Black Sea or the Baltic? Do you think he would be more likely to back down or more likely to test this new social science experiment?
The Ministry of Defense is embarking on a dangerous path. Congress should stop it.
