For the 5th year, thanks to the efforts of Baltimore Shliach Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaumdirector of the Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland-Chabad (JUSA), a Sukka was built at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
The Sukka was located in the courtyard of the main chapel and was available to Jewish members of the APG throughout the time of Chol Hamoed.
JUSA held a Sukka party on the first day of Chol Hamoed attended by soldiers and APG employees, where they had the chance to perform the mitzvah of Lulav and Estrog and make a brocha in the Sukka .
JUSA would like to thank Chaplain (LTC) Joshua Metz, the Installation Garrison Chaplain and his office for all their help and assistance.
JUSA-Chabad expands its efforts! They are under contract for a new Chabad House which will include a lounge for veterans and law enforcement. This first Chabad House of its kind will house many services and initiatives for our brave men and women in uniform.
