A crew of 33 Joint STARS E-8C Airmen from the 116th Air Control Wing of the Georgia Air National Guard, the 461st Air Control Wing of the Air Force and the 138th Military Intelligence Company, collectively known as Team JSTARS , made history when the very first all-African-American flight crew flew a training mission from Robins Air Force Base on February 19. The crew took the training opportunity to also commemorate Black History Month.
