26th Signal Company
Guadalcanal, 1942-1943

I have recently come into possession of a 1942-43 daily journal (11/20/42 - 3/29/43) and photo album from a Joseph Fitzgerald, Jr. who served in the 26th Signal company in New Caledonia and Guadalcanal. Indications from the journal entries and photos seem to indicate that Joe was a driver for the Colonel and may have also been a photographer connected with the Army "TOJO" photo shop on the island.

I have just started a search for Joe Fitzgerald and/or family - I would love to return
this book to them - any help would be appreciated.
